The Temple of Worth

Taurus Full Moon

Moon Name:“The Horizon Within”

This is the New Moon of expansion, truth-seeking, and visionary fire. A time to name the quest your soul is on, and to trust that even the unseen road is sacred if it’s led by your inner compass.

Taurus Full Moon  “The Temple of Worth”

Sun in Scorpio | Moon in Taurus
    Fixed Polarity | Earth–Water Axis
    Ruled by Venus

Astrological Overview

The Taurus Full Moon rises in radiant stillness, like a bell that hums with beauty, worth, and remembrance. It arrives in contrast to the Sun in Scorpio, which dives deep into the underworld. Taurus, meanwhile, holds ground. It says: Even in the mystery — I am.

This lunation illuminates the sacred tension between Scorpio’s transformative surrender and Taurus’s stabilizing essence. Together, they ask us to examine the foundation on which we’ve built our lives. Have we been rooted in fear… or in trust? Scarcity… or sufficiency? Shame… or worthiness?

Taurus is the archetype of inner peace, embodiment, and value. When the Moon is full in this sign, it shines a light on the parts of us that are still chasing, still doubting, still believing we must do to be worthy of being.

But the Moon in Taurus holds a deeper wisdom: You are already sacred. Your presence is the offering.

Evolutionary Themes of the Taurus Full Moon

  1. Claiming Inner Value
This Moon reveals where the soul has been outsourcing its worth — to achievement, relationships, money, validation. The evolutionary call is to reclaim that worth from within.

  2. Grounding After Deep Inner Work
With the Sun in Scorpio, we’ve been through the underworld. Taurus offers the landing. The soul is integrating transformation and finding new stability rooted in truth.

  3. Healing Scarcity Wounds
Many are learning to shift from survival-mode to sufficiency. This Moon asks: What if I let life support me? What if enough is already here?

  4. Body as Temple, Earth as Teacher
Taurus brings us home to the body, the senses, and the Earth. The soul learns that pleasure, beauty, and presence are not luxuries — they are medicine.

  5. Releasing What is Not Aligned with Self-Worth
What must be let go — financially, emotionally, physically — to honor your values? This Full Moon may bring powerful endings and completions.

Reflection Questions

  1. Where in my life have I been measuring my worth through external means?

  2. What does embodied self-worth look and feel like to me?

  3. What simple pleasures anchor me in the present moment?

  4. Have I been chasing security in places that do not hold me?

  5. What relationships, habits, or possessions no longer reflect my values?

  6. What would change if I truly believed I was enough — without needing to earn it?

  7. How can I honor my body, the Earth, and my own needs more fully?

Ritual: “Anointing the Temple”

A Ceremony of Worthiness, Grounding, and Release

You Will Need:

  • A bowl of warm water with rose petals or herbs

  • A candle (white, gold, or green)

  • A coin or crystal that symbolizes value

  • Paper and pen

  • Natural elements (flowers, salt, leaves – optional)

The Ceremony

1. Prepare the Sacred Space
Create a circle of beauty. Light the candle and place your hands over your heart. Speak aloud:

“I honor the temple of my body. I honor the garden of my worth. I now choose to release what no longer aligns with my sacred self.”

2. The Water Blessing
Dip your fingers in the water and gently anoint your heart, forehead, and hands. As you do, say:

“I release the belief that I must earn love, worth, or safety. I am enough.”

3. Write and Release
Write down one or more things you are ready to release:

  • Scarcity mindsets

  • Attachments rooted in fear

  • Patterns of overgiving or self-doubt

Read them aloud. Then bury or burn the paper with intention.

4. Anchor in Value
Hold the coin or crystal and say:
“I anchor my worth in truth. I receive life’s abundance with open arms.”

Place it on your altar or keep it near your body in the days that follow.

5. Close with Stillness
Sit in silence. Listen to your breath. Let the Earth hold you. When ready, blow out the candle and say:

“I walk in the light of my worth. I am rooted. I am radiant. I am home.”

Closing Blessing

May this Taurus Full Moon return you to the temple of your body and the rhythm of the earth.
May you release the rush, the reaching, the restlessness — and remember the holy in the here.
May you savor what is simple, tend what is true, and root into the life that is already blooming within you.
And may you know: you are the sanctuary you seek.
